What it is
We cook a seasonal dinner together and then sit at one long table for as long as it takes. Simple food, local ingredients, plenty of it.
You arrive an hour before we eat if you want to help chop and stir, since that part is half the point. Come at 19:30 and you just eat.
Expect candles, a fire, no phones on the table and conversations that go somewhere. Bring a bottle if you drink; there is no bar.
Who it's for
- Anyone who wants to meet people properly rather than at a party.
- Locals and neighbours. You do not need to be on the retreat.
- People who cook, and people who want to learn by standing next to someone who does.
- Anyone eating alone too often lately.
